Refund policy

Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy

At Journey Morocco, each itinerary is thoughtfully curated and confirmed through advance reservations with our trusted partners. As such, the following cancellation and refund policy applies to all bespoke journeys, tours, and experiences booked with us.

Multi-Day Tours & Bespoke Journeys

Cancellations Made 45 Days or More Prior to Departure
Fully paid and partially paid journeys (including those secured by one or more deposits) may be cancelled up to forty-five (45) days prior to the scheduled start date for a full refund of all amounts paid, less any non-recoverable third-party fees where applicable.

Bookings Made Within 45 Days of Departure
For journeys booked within forty-five (45) days of departure, refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis, as services are often confirmed immediately. Guests are asked to contact Journey Morocco directly to discuss available options.

Cancellations Made 14 Days Prior to Departure
Cancellations received fourteen (14) days prior to departure may be eligible for a partial refund, calculated based on unrecoverable costs already incurred, including accommodations, guides, drivers, permits, and administrative preparation.

Cancellations Made 7 Days Prior to Departure
Cancellations received seven (7) days prior to departure may be eligible for a limited partial refund, at Journey Morocco’s discretion, reflecting the high likelihood that services can no longer be released without penalty.

Cancellations Made Within 72 Hours of Departure
Cancellations made within seventy-two (72) hours of the tour start time are non-refundable, without exception.

Day Tours & Excursions

  • Day excursions may be cancelled up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled start time with no penalty.

  • Cancellations made within twenty-four (24) hours of the excursion are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No-shows are non-refundable.

Rescheduling Policy

Journey Morocco understands that plans may evolve and offers a one-time rescheduling option under the following conditions:

  • Journeys may be rescheduled without penalty if requested more than forty-five (45) days prior to the original departure date, subject to availability.

  • Rescheduled journeys must commence within twelve (12) months of the original departure date.

  • Rescheduling does not reset or extend cancellation windows. All future cancellation eligibility is calculated from the original booking date and original departure date, not the rescheduled date.

  • Once a journey has been rescheduled, it becomes non-refundable, except where required by law or expressly agreed to in writing by Journey Morocco.

This policy prevents rescheduling from being used as a means to bypass cancellation terms.

Non-Refundable Elements

Certain components of a journey may be non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing, including but not limited to:

  • Special-event tickets or permits

  • Peak-season accommodations

  • Private villas or exclusive-use properties

  • Services contracted with strict supplier penalties

Any such items will be disclosed at the time of booking.

Travel Insurance

Journey Morocco strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances, including illness, flight disruptions, or emergencies. Refunds will not be issued for circumstances that would ordinarily be covered by travel insurance.

Force Majeure

Journey Morocco shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or changes resulting from events beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or government restrictions. In such cases, refunds or credits will be assessed in accordance with recoverable supplier costs.
