This full-day private journey draws you away from Marrakech and into the folds of the Atlas Mountains, where the pace of life shifts almost imperceptibly. Along the way, you’re welcomed into a traditional Amazigh home, where mint tea is poured and daily customs are shared with an ease that feels unperformed and sincere. From here, the route climbs deeper into the mountains, reaching the last village before the road gives way to footpaths. A guided walk follows—threading between villages and shaded trails, the sound of water growing steadily louder—until the path opens out toward the waterfalls, framed by stone, greenery, and mountain light.

Journey Details
Depart Marrakech in the morning in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle or 4WD, traveling toward the Atlas foothills. As the terrain shifts, your driver-guide shares context on the region’s geography and settlement patterns.
You pause at a Berber home, where a traditional mint tea is prepared and daily customs are shared in a simple, welcoming setting. The journey continues to the last village, where a local guide leads a walk along village paths and shaded trails toward the waterfall.
Lunch may be taken at a nearby riverside restaurant, offering traditional dishes in a relaxed, open-air setting (at your own expense). In the late afternoon, return to Marrakech.
